Material Studied

With a group of friends, discover the Catholic Church's teachings on marriage and family life.

Through well prepared and effective materials, Familia teams build up a deep appreciation for the dignity of the human person. Topics include the Theology of the Body, the great esteem the Church has for women, fathers and Christian leadership, the importance of human labor and the confidence and peace which comes from prayer. Familia offers realistic ways to succeed in what matters most.

We know that time is a precious commodity for couples. For this reason each question of every program references back to the specific area in the document studied so the participants can read the concepts together before entering into their discussion. This conveinent aid allows participants to select different levels of preparing for the sessions based on their availability.

Our study materials have always been prepared through theologians, lay and religious, who hold Licentiate (STL), Masters (STM) or Doctorate (STD) degrees in Theology from institutions including the Angelicum in Rome and the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and the Family in Rome and Washington D.C. These contributors help to present the depth of the Catholic faith in easy-to-use concepts that apply to the way we live today.
